# Valle Nevado vs BoxMagic

Valle Nevado and BoxMagic both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Valle Nevado's written reviews are positive against 22% of BoxMagic's. Valle Nevado also leads on ratings volume (35 vs 3). BoxMagic's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Valle Nevado holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Valle Nevado has 35 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
