# Heart Schools vs vID

The clearest difference is update cadence: vID at every 2 weeks against Heart Schools's every 2 months. vID also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 74%) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). Heart Schools's advantage is ratings volume (39K vs 6.5K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Heart Schools against 4.8 for vID. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Heart Schools has 39K ratings behind it against 6.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
