# 3Strike ASL vs Connect Words

The clearest difference is rating: Connect Words at 4.6 against 3Strike ASL's 3.7. Connect Words also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (50K vs 9). 3Strike ASL's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Connect Words holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connect Words has 50K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of 3Strike ASL's written reviews are positive against 39% of Connect Words's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

3Strike ASL ships an update every 2 months, Connect Words every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
