# Edsby vs SpacesEDU

The clearest difference is rating: SpacesEDU at 2.0 against Edsby's 1.3. SpacesEDU also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Edsby's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SpacesEDU holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Edsby's written reviews are positive against 7% of SpacesEDU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Edsby ships an update every 3 months, SpacesEDU every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on September 30, 2026.
