# Termius vs Search Panel

The clearest difference is rating: Termius at 4.7 against Search Panel's 3.0. Termius also leads on ratings volume (19K vs 2) and chart position (#4 vs unranked). Search Panel's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 81%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Termius sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $15.00 per month and Search Panel sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Termius holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Termius has 19K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Termius's written reviews are positive against 100% of Search Panel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Termius ships an update fortnightly, Search Panel monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
