# City Electric Supply vs Prokeep

The clearest difference is rating: Prokeep at 3.6 against City Electric Supply's 2.9. Prokeep also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). City Electric Supply's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and review sentiment (50% vs 20%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Prokeep holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 28 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of City Electric Supply's written reviews are positive against 20% of Prokeep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
