# iWantTFC vs StarTimes ON

The clearest difference is rating: iWantTFC at 3.9 against StarTimes ON's 3.5. iWantTFC also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and chart position (#92 vs unranked). StarTimes ON's advantage is review sentiment (30% vs 20%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iWantTFC sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and StarTimes ON sells 21 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iWantTFC holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iWantTFC has 1.3K ratings behind it against 215, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of iWantTFC's written reviews are positive against 30% of StarTimes ON's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iWantTFC ships an update every 11 days, StarTimes ON every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
