# iWantTFC vs Cignal Play

The clearest difference is rating: Cignal Play at 4.5 against iWantTFC's 3.9. Cignal Play also leads on ads (none vs shown). iWantTFC's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks) and chart position (#103 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iWantTFC sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Cignal Play sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.29 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cignal Play holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.3K and 392 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of iWantTFC's written reviews are positive against 9% of Cignal Play's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iWantTFC ships an update every 11 days, Cignal Play every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
