# AMScope vs DLscope

The clearest difference is rating: AMScope at 5.0 against DLscope's 1.8. AMScope also leads on iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 13). DLscope's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AMScope holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DLscope has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
