# MyStuff2 Pro vs GearChain

The clearest difference is rating: GearChain at 5.0 against MyStuff2 Pro's 4.4. GearChain also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). MyStuff2 Pro's advantage is ratings volume (533 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyStuff2 Pro sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and GearChain sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GearChain holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyStuff2 Pro has 533 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyStuff2 Pro ships an update fortnightly, GearChain every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
