# MIPC vs Conico

The clearest difference is monetization model: MIPC at free with in-app purchases against Conico's subscription. MIPC also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 114). Conico's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MIPC sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Conico sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.1 for MIPC against 2.0 for Conico. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MIPC has 2.2K ratings behind it against 114, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 16% of MIPC's written reviews are positive against 13% of Conico's.

MIPC ships an update fortnightly, Conico every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
