# MIPC vs Stain Fix

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Stain Fix at 100% against MIPC's 16%. Stain Fix also leads on rating (3.7 vs 2.1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). MIPC's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 3) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MIPC sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Stain Fix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stain Fix holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MIPC has 2.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 16% of MIPC's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stain Fix's.

MIPC ships an update fortnightly, Stain Fix every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
