# Pre vs Prealgebra

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Prealgebra at 8.0 against Pre's 15.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pre sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Prealgebra sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
