# SwitchTrainer vs Self Service Checkout

The clearest difference is price: SwitchTrainer at Free against Self Service Checkout's $2.99. Self Service Checkout's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (33% vs 0%). On rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

SwitchTrainer is free to download; Self Service Checkout costs $2.99 up front. SwitchTrainer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Self Service Checkout asks for nothing beyond the download.

SwitchTrainer holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Self Service Checkout has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of SwitchTrainer's written reviews are positive against 33% of Self Service Checkout's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
