# Workflowy vs PrepChecklist

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Workflowy at 88% against PrepChecklist's 50%. Workflowy also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Workflowy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and PrepChecklist sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Workflowy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Workflowy has 8.2K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Workflowy's written reviews are positive against 50% of PrepChecklist's.

Workflowy ships an update weekly, PrepChecklist fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
