# OneCamera vs Discreet

The clearest difference is rating: Discreet at 4.4 against OneCamera's 3.5. Discreet also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 4) and review sentiment (56% vs 38%). OneCamera's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Discreet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. OneCamera asks for nothing beyond the download.

Discreet holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Discreet has 2.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of OneCamera's written reviews are positive against 56% of Discreet's.

OneCamera ships an update every 2 weeks, Discreet every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
