# KeyCall vs Call Now

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KeyCall at none against Call Now's 9. KeyCall also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 69%). Call Now's advantage is ratings volume (155 vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Call Now sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. KeyCall asks for nothing beyond the download.

Call Now holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Call Now has 155 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of KeyCall's written reviews are positive against 69% of Call Now's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KeyCall ships an update every 2 months, Call Now fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
