# iCMOB vs Staticphone Plus

The clearest difference is rating: iCMOB at 4.8 against Staticphone Plus's 4.2. iCMOB also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 5). Staticphone Plus's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Staticphone Plus sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. iCMOB asks for nothing beyond the download.

iCMOB holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iCMOB has 2.3K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of iCMOB's written reviews are positive against 100% of Staticphone Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
