# ClassDojo vs I.S. 254

The clearest difference is rating: ClassDojo at 4.8 against I.S. 254's 3.1. ClassDojo also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (4.1M vs 11). I.S. 254's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (100% vs 69%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClassDojo sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. I.S. 254 asks for nothing beyond the download.

ClassDojo holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClassDojo has 4.1M ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of ClassDojo's written reviews are positive against 100% of I.S. 254's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ClassDojo ships an update every 2 days, I.S. 254 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
