# ClassDojo vs Trinity Catholic Academy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Trinity Catholic Academy at none against ClassDojo's 10. Trinity Catholic Academy also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 69%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). ClassDojo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClassDojo sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Trinity Catholic Academy asks for nothing beyond the download.

ClassDojo holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClassDojo has 4.1M ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of ClassDojo's written reviews are positive against 100% of Trinity Catholic Academy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ClassDojo ships an update every 2 days, Trinity Catholic Academy every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
