# ClassDojo vs Smart Pickup

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Smart Pickup at none against ClassDojo's 22. Smart Pickup also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). ClassDojo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (4.1M vs 2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClassDojo sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Smart Pickup asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smart Pickup holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClassDojo has 4.1M ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
