# CamRanger Wireless DSLR Camera vs Camera Connect & Control

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CamRanger Wireless DSLR Camera at none against Camera Connect & Control's 6. CamRanger Wireless DSLR Camera also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). Camera Connect & Control's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (734 vs 35). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Camera Connect & Control sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. CamRanger Wireless DSLR Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

Camera Connect & Control holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camera Connect & Control has 734 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of CamRanger Wireless DSLR Camera's written reviews are positive against 47% of Camera Connect & Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
