# Whitelines vs ArtPencil

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Whitelines at none against ArtPencil's 1. Whitelines also leads on ratings volume (104 vs 11) and device support (3 vs 1). ArtPencil's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (5.1 vs 12.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ArtPencil sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whitelines asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for Whitelines against 4.0 for ArtPencil.
