# Whitelines vs Kivra

The clearest difference is rating: Kivra at 4.7 against Whitelines's 3.9. Kivra also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 103). Whitelines's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kivra sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whitelines asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kivra holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kivra has 3.8K ratings behind it against 103, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Whitelines's written reviews are positive against 58% of Kivra's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whitelines ships an update every 5 months, Kivra every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
