# Cruise.com vs Cruise Ship Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Cruise Ship Tracker at 4.4 against Cruise.com's 3.8. Cruise Ship Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (356 vs 57). Cruise.com's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and review sentiment (64% vs 50%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cruise Ship Tracker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Cruise.com asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cruise Ship Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cruise Ship Tracker has 356 ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Cruise.com's written reviews are positive against 50% of Cruise Ship Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cruise.com ships an update every 3 months, Cruise Ship Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
