# FlagWaver vs TierMaker.com

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FlagWaver at 62% against TierMaker.com's 9%. TierMaker.com's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and rating (4.2 vs 3.4). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

TierMaker.com is free to download; FlagWaver costs $0.99 up front. FlagWaver sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and TierMaker.com sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TierMaker.com holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TierMaker.com has 1.8K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of FlagWaver's written reviews are positive against 9% of TierMaker.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FlagWaver ships an update every 15 months, TierMaker.com weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
