# Yandex Disk secure storage vs Смарт

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Смарт at none against Yandex Disk secure storage's 14. Смарт also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Yandex Disk secure storage's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yandex Disk secure storage sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Смарт asks for nothing beyond the download.

Yandex Disk secure storage holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yandex Disk secure storage has 6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Yandex Disk secure storage's written reviews are positive against 50% of Смарт's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yandex Disk secure storage ships an update weekly, Смарт fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
