# Cyclist vs TDF

The clearest difference is rating: Cyclist at 4.7 against TDF's 1.9. Cyclist also leads on review sentiment (46% vs 21%) and ratings volume (147 vs 16). TDF's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cyclist sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per 3 months. TDF asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cyclist holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cyclist has 147 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of Cyclist's written reviews are positive against 21% of TDF's.

Cyclist ships an update every 4 months, TDF every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
