# Daily Tasks vs Sequences

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Daily Tasks at 53% against Sequences's 0%. Daily Tasks also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (15 vs 1). Sequences's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sequences sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Daily Tasks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sequences holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Tasks has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Daily Tasks's written reviews are positive against 0% of Sequences's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daily Tasks ships an update every 6 weeks, Sequences every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
