# TRENDnet CloudView vs Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer The clearest difference is rating: Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer at 4.1 against TRENDnet CloudView's 2.3. Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 46) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). TRENDnet CloudView's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. TRENDnet CloudView asks for nothing beyond the download. Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer has 2.6K ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of TRENDnet CloudView's written reviews are positive against 10% of Wifi Signal Strength Analyzer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
