# DiDi China vs AA出行

The clearest difference is rating: DiDi China at 3.7 against AA出行's 3.0. DiDi China also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 2). AA出行's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DiDi China holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DiDi China has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of DiDi China's written reviews are positive against 43% of AA出行's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DiDi China ships an update every 8 days, AA出行 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
