The clearest difference is rating: Golf Genius at 4.8 against Golf Live Scoring's 1.0. Golf Genius also leads on ratings volume (75K vs 1) and chart position (#95 vs unranked). Golf Live Scoring's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
