# Golf Genius vs Ballwashers

The clearest difference is update cadence: Golf Genius at every 3 weeks against Ballwashers's every 12 months. Golf Genius also leads on ratings volume (75K vs 1) and chart position (#112 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ballwashers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf Genius has 75K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Golf Genius ships an update every 3 weeks, Ballwashers every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
