# Golf Genius vs Links Rover

Golf Genius and Links Rover both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Links Rover's written reviews are positive against 26% of Golf Genius's. Golf Genius's advantage is ratings volume (76K vs 3) and chart position (#114 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Links Rover holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf Genius has 76K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 26% of Golf Genius's written reviews are positive against 100% of Links Rover's.

Golf Genius ships an update every 3 weeks, Links Rover fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
