# Golf Genius vs Match Card Pro

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Golf Genius at 76K against Match Card Pro's 1. Golf Genius also leads on chart position (#165 vs unranked). Match Card Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Match Card Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf Genius has 76K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Golf Genius ships an update every 3 weeks, Match Card Pro every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
