The clearest difference is rating: Golf Genius at 4.8 against Arccos Golf's 4.6. Golf Genius also leads on chart position (#120 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Golf Genius holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 76K and 33K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Golf Genius's written reviews are positive against 41% of Arccos Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
