# Georgetown Mobile vs BARBRI

The clearest difference is rating: BARBRI at 4.6 against Georgetown Mobile's 1.6. BARBRI also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 16) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). Georgetown Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 17%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BARBRI holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BARBRI has 3K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Georgetown Mobile's written reviews are positive against 17% of BARBRI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Georgetown Mobile ships an update every 7 months, BARBRI every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
