# xCalendar Toolkit vs Timeview

The clearest difference is rating: Timeview at 4.8 against xCalendar Toolkit's 3.6. Timeview also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (32 vs 5). xCalendar Toolkit's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. xCalendar Toolkit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Timeview sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timeview holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timeview has 32 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of xCalendar Toolkit's written reviews are positive against 67% of Timeview's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

xCalendar Toolkit ships an update every 2 months, Timeview fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
