# HelloTalk vs CONCENTRATE

The clearest difference is ads: CONCENTRATE at none against HelloTalk's shown. HelloTalk's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and chart position (#26 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HelloTalk sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and CONCENTRATE sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HelloTalk ships an update fortnightly, CONCENTRATE every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
