# Total files vs My File Organizer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: My File Organizer at none against Total files's 4. My File Organizer also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 62%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Total files's advantage is ratings volume (135K vs 6.5K) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Total files sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. My File Organizer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Total files holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Total files has 135K ratings behind it against 6.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Total files's written reviews are positive against 82% of My File Organizer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Total files ships an update every 3 weeks, My File Organizer every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
