# ポケットマップ vs 足跡

The clearest difference is rating: 足跡 at 4.0 against ポケットマップ's 3.5. 足跡 also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). ポケットマップ's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 35%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ポケットマップ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year and 足跡 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

足跡 holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of ポケットマップ's written reviews are positive against 35% of 足跡's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ポケットマップ ships an update every 2 months, 足跡 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
