# Extron Control vs Reflectivity

The clearest difference is rating: Extron Control at 4.5 against Reflectivity's 4.0. Extron Control also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). Reflectivity's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Extron Control holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Extron Control has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Extron Control ships an update every 4 months, Reflectivity every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
