# egshig vs 荔枝

The clearest difference is review sentiment: egshig at 91% against 荔枝's 52%. egshig also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.3). 荔枝's advantage is ratings volume (888 vs 16) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. egshig sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and 荔枝 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

egshig holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 荔枝 has 888 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.
