# Beach Buggy Blitz vs Boulder Dash® 30th Anniversary

The clearest difference is ads: Boulder Dash® 30th Anniversary at none against Beach Buggy Blitz's shown. Boulder Dash® 30th Anniversary also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Beach Buggy Blitz's advantage is ratings volume (928 vs 123). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beach Buggy Blitz sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Boulder Dash® 30th Anniversary sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Boulder Dash® 30th Anniversary holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beach Buggy Blitz has 928 ratings behind it against 123, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Beach Buggy Blitz's written reviews are positive against 80% of Boulder Dash® 30th Anniversary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Beach Buggy Blitz ships an update every 5 months, Boulder Dash® 30th Anniversary every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
