# Learn German vs Learn German Beginners Easily

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Learn German Beginners Easily at 90% against Learn German's 44%. Learn German Beginners Easily also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (511 vs 4). Learn German's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn German sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Learn German Beginners Easily sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn German holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn German Beginners Easily has 511 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Learn German's written reviews are positive against 90% of Learn German Beginners Easily's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Learn German ships an update every 3 weeks, Learn German Beginners Easily every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
