# Cats FM vs Drum Set +

The clearest difference is price: Cats FM at Free against Drum Set +'s $4.99. Cats FM also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 20 months). Drum Set +'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Cats FM is free to download; Drum Set + costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cats FM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Cats FM's written reviews are positive against 100% of Drum Set +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
