# YAMAP vs CDRepeat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CDRepeat at 100% against YAMAP's 55%. CDRepeat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). YAMAP's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 10 months) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YAMAP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per month. CDRepeat asks for nothing beyond the download.

YAMAP holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YAMAP has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of YAMAP's written reviews are positive against 100% of CDRepeat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YAMAP ships an update weekly, CDRepeat every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
