# PAR Mobile vs Cornerstone OnDemand

The clearest difference is rating: Cornerstone OnDemand at 4.7 against PAR Mobile's 3.8. Cornerstone OnDemand also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (28K vs 4). PAR Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cornerstone OnDemand holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cornerstone OnDemand has 28K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of PAR Mobile's written reviews are positive against 60% of Cornerstone OnDemand's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PAR Mobile ships an update every 14 months, Cornerstone OnDemand every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
