# DODONPACHI MAXIMUM vs Warp Shift

The clearest difference is update cadence: DODONPACHI MAXIMUM at every 2 months against Warp Shift's every 11 months. DODONPACHI MAXIMUM also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and price ($3.99 vs $4.99). Warp Shift's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 53) and review sentiment (90% vs 72%). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

DODONPACHI MAXIMUM costs $3.99 and Warp Shift $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DODONPACHI MAXIMUM holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Warp Shift has 1.4K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of DODONPACHI MAXIMUM's written reviews are positive against 90% of Warp Shift's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DODONPACHI MAXIMUM ships an update every 2 months, Warp Shift every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
