# PSO & Heinz Hall vs BDAA

The clearest difference is rating: BDAA at 5.0 against PSO & Heinz Hall's 4.3. BDAA also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). PSO & Heinz Hall's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BDAA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PSO & Heinz Hall has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PSO & Heinz Hall ships an update every 5 months, BDAA every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
